Notitia is a platform for open-source academic publishing. It responds to the many issues that currently exist in the academic publishing industry and aims to make knowledge free and accessible while still supporting researchers. The platform would use blockchain technology in order to cut the unnecessary costs in traditional publishing models. Project output included a business plan and an outline for a digital platform and publishing model

This project was completed in three months during the Fall 2021 MDD Senior Thesis Studio at the University of Utah.
